Global Sports Policy Review (ISSN (O): 2582-8886) is the first of its kind multidisciplinary online sports journal which combines articles addressing the overall sports curriculum and sports policy matters which revolve around trending sports-related issues of the era, starting from legal and administrative policies to all other sports-related affairs across other disciplines. This online journal is the outcome of an individual community. It is a peer-reviewed journal and is backed by a strong advisory and editorial board, together with professional business staff and independent overseers, who are responsible for carrying out day-to-day operations in the field of global sports.  We pride ourselves in accepting research articles from all divisions of scholarly society, as well as Students and Sports Enthusiasts.

Our Mission

GSPR aims to provide 360-degree coverage of various aspects related to Sports The scope is wide enough to include E-Sports and niche sports like ice hockey along with other mainstream sports. We aim to spread awareness and cultivate active interest in sports among the Student community,  not in terms of just being there to physically participate on the field, but also to explore sports as a professional subject to read and carry research on. We aim to encourage people to be aware of the existing and ever-changing framework and policy, so much so that it becomes a person’s one-stop access to the latest updates and in-depth research about the Sports sector.

This is an open-access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. Subhrajit Chanda


Subhrajit Chanda is an Asst. Lecturer at OP Jindal Global University, and Visiting Faculty at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Rohtak and Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad, where he was in-charge of Center of Sports Law and Policy.
He has played for the Sports Authority of India - Eastern Region. He has worked as sports mentor volunteer at Nottingham Trent University and has collaborated with Laureus Foundation and the UK Media and Sports Government.
He has also edited and also contributed chapters in several books related to sports law, and was invited on the review boards of many sports law journals.

Avinash Singh is a sports enthusiast, specifically cricket, who did his B.B.A.LL.B. and further, did his LL.M. from Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University. He has had a long association with the Competition Commission of India & IIM, Lucknow. He has edited a book  named Sports Law and Policy Global Scenario, ISBN 978-81-946558-2-4. He is presently an Asst. Professor at Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad.

Julian Henrique Dias Rodrigues is a member of the Sports Law Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association (Paraná Section), Defender, Auditor of the Full Court and Prosecutor in the Sports Courts of football, golf, rowing and indoor football in the State of Paraná, Brazil (2009-2011). He was a member of the Portuguese Sports Law Association (2019) and the Brazilian Institute of Sports Law (2010).

In 2017, he founded Comparative Law (Direito Comparado) (, a legal information portal and online courses in the Portuguese - Brazilian and Portuguese - European space, a pioneer in legal education focused on the internationalization of law.

Nishant Sheokand is the Assistant Dean, Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of IFIM Business and Law School, Bangalore, Karnataka. He also teaches law at the OP Jindal Global University (JGU). Additionally, he is the Director of BrookWood Interiors and has previously been a Legal Consultant for Dr. BR Ambedkar National Law University, Sonipat, Haryana.
